Desciption of Services
Reback - Repairing broken and disconnected spines. Preparing the original cover, adding a new spine piece, and then reattaching the pages into the remade cover and spine.
Recase - Reattaching the few loose sheets at the first and last pages of the book, attaching new end pages to the textblock, and binding the textblock back into the original cover.
Rebind - Reattaching all loose pages and sections back into the textblock, and Recasing.
Resew - Resewing where the original sewing has come loose.
Recover - Taking the original cover off of the book/textblock, and making a completely new cover, using leather or standard material, and binding the new cover unto the textblock.
Torn Pages - A special acid free adhesive is applied to repair and disguise the tears in a page.
Waxing - Using a acid free micro crystalline wax or polish to refurbish and to help contrast the colors on the original leather (or standard material) bindings.
New books - If you have compiled your own original content (Ex: Textbook Thesis, Municipal Books, Annual Reports, Personal Journals, Dissertations, Record Books, Scrap Books, Sketch Books, Miniature Books...) it can be bound into a completely new book, in either Hardback or Paperback form.
Imprinting - Engrave a title or name by hot stamping a gold, or other, colored foil into the cover material of any hard or leather bound book.
